# How does Outshinery ensure the quality of its digital images?

An **Outshinery Studio** image is built by a trained artist from your production files, checked against a proof you approve, and color-matched from physical references. Those three steps are the quality control, in that order.

**A trained artist builds it from your files.** Every **Outshinery Studio** image starts with the same production files you send your printer: the layered label file, the container shape, the closure, the glass color. A 3D artist builds your packaging from those, so the label text, the finishes, and the proportions come from your artwork, not from a guess.

**You see a proof before anything is final.** Once the first version is ready we send it to you for review. Anything that needs adjusting inside that round is included. Nothing is finalized until you approve it. [How do proofing and approval work?](https://outshinery.crisp.help/en/article/how-do-proofing-and-approval-work-jmxw2s/)

**Colors are matched from references.** For wine and spirits in clear glass we hold a wide range of liquid colors, and we match paper stock and print finishes from physical samples. One caveat: screens differ, so a color can look slightly different on your phone than on a calibrated monitor.

The accuracy of the result depends on the accuracy of the brief. "I don't know" is a valid answer in the request form where it is offered; guessing is what produces a wrong proof.

**Outshinery Lite** is automated. It renders your flat label on a library bottle with fixed lighting and camera, so consistency is built in, and there is no proof round.
