Why do I need to order a Product Shot before I can order other types of visual content?

Because in Outshinery Studio the Product Shot is the 3D model everything else is made from.

When Studio builds a Product Shot, the artist creates a 3D model of your packaging: the container, the glass color, the closure, the label with its paper and finishes. That model is the asset. A Pre-Designed scene places it into a photograph. A Portfolio Image arranges several of them. A video moves it. A POS display stacks it.

Think of it as casting: the Product Shot is the headshot, and it has to exist before the actor can walk on set.

It also means the model only has to be built once. Every image after the first reuses it, and every vintage update on it is free.

So the order is: Product Shot first (1 Shine Credit per view), then anything else. If you already have a Product Shot of the product, you can order any other image type straight away.
