Can Outshinery render silkscreened (ACL) bottles?

Yes. Silkscreened bottles, also called ACL (applied ceramic labeling), are standard work in both products. Which one depends on the inks.

Outshinery Lite renders a plain silkscreen as a flat label on the bottle body. Upload the artwork as a transparent PNG and it renders like any other label, in about an hour. Neck labels and dimensional finishes are not in Lite's scope.

Outshinery Studio is the product for silkscreen with precious metallic inks, mica or grainy specialty inks, or etched glass. The artist works from your vector production file (PDF or Adobe Illustrator) with every ink indicated, and places the design exactly on the glass. On a clear bottle we also control what shows through: the back design does not bleed into the front view unless you want it to, which is hard to manage in a physical shoot.

Silkscreen on its own never needs Studio. The specialty inks and etched glass do.
