How do proofing and approval work?

In Outshinery Studio, a request goes brief, first proof, revisions, approval, files. The first proof takes 3 to 5 business days once we have everything, and nothing is final until you approve it.

1. We check the brief. If anything is missing, usually a layered label file or a bottle detail, we ask before starting. A complete brief is what makes the first proof come back right.

2. First proof. For a tricky angle or a bottle with a lot going on, we sometimes send a rough preview first to confirm the framing. That adds a day and makes the feedback round faster.

3. Your review. Reply on the proof with anything to adjust. Small revisions inside the proof round are included: the liquid color, how a finish reads, that kind of thing. A change to the brief itself (a different bottle shape, a different closure, a new label file) means rebuilding, so it is a new request rather than a revision, and we confirm the cost with you before doing it.

4. Revisions come back in 1 to 2 business days.

5. Approve. Once you approve, the final files land in your Content Library shortly after, and we email you the link.

Batches. When you order several SKUs at once, we hold the rest until the first one is approved, on purpose. Any change you ask for gets applied to the whole set at once instead of being fixed several times. As soon as the first is approved, the others move straight into production.

The review window. We treat a proof as approved if we have not heard back after two weeks. That is only so files do not sit open indefinitely. If you need longer, just ask, and we extend it.

Shine Credits are redeemed when the work is complete. With Rush, the first proof typically comes in under 2 business days: What is the Rush option and what does it cost?
