What files do I need to provide?
Outshinery Studio
The rule: if it is good enough to print, it is good enough to render. We need the same files your printer gets.
Label files, layered and vector:
- A packaged Adobe Illustrator file (.ai) with fonts and linked images included, as a ZIP, or
- EPS, or
- A layered PDF, vector, unlocked, with the dielines and the spot colors that flag varnish, emboss, deboss, and foil.
What does not work: JPG and PNG (no layers, no finish information), flattened PDF, password-protected PDF, and low-resolution printer's proofs. If a file will not open on our side we tell you and show the error.
Container details: bottle shape (or the supplier drawing), glass color, closure type, paper stock if known. The request form walks you through it, and "I don't know" is an accepted answer where offered.
Closure and capsule artwork, if branded: the vector file, same standard.
Back label: only if you are ordering a back view.
Placeholder elements: finalize barcodes, QR codes, and legal text before sending. We remove an "FPO" tag but the placeholder content stays.

Outshinery Lite
One file: a high-resolution PNG of the flat label, cropped to its shape, transparent outside the edges, no shadows or lighting baked in. No vector file needed. Only have a PDF or JPG? Free label prep converts it. Ideal label files
