What should I have ready to start ordering product images?

For Outshinery Studio, the files you send your printer plus your container details. For Outshinery Lite, one transparent PNG of the label plus your picks from the library.


Outshinery Studio


  1. Layered label files. The same files you send your printer: a packaged Adobe Illustrator file (.ai, with fonts and links), EPS, or a layered PDF. Flattened files and JPGs cannot carry foil, embossing, or varnish, so we cannot read the finishes from them. Label file guide
  2. Container details. Bottle shape (or a technical drawing if it is not in our library), glass color, closure type, and the paper stock if you know it. "I don't know" is a valid answer in the form where offered. Container reference
  3. Closure and capsule artwork, if branded: the vector file.
  4. Optional: a phone photo of the bottle if it exists, or of a similar one. It helps us check proportions.


No sample bottle. Nothing to ship.


Outshinery Lite


  1. One PNG of your label, high resolution, cropped to the label shape, transparent outside the edges. No shadows or lighting baked in. Ideal label files
  2. Your picks from the library: bottle shape, closure and finish, glass color, liquid color. Browse the library
  3. A card for checkout.


If you only have a PDF or JPG of the label, Lite's free label prep converts it.
