Will people think that the bottle in the picture is a "fake"?
No, and the reason is worth knowing, because it is the same reason the image holds up next to a photograph.
An Outshinery Studio image is not an illustration of a bottle. It is your bottle. A trained 3D artist builds your container from its real specs, glass shape, closure, capsule, and places your production label file on it. The text, the appellation, the ABV, and the finish are the ones you sent us. Nothing is redrawn or approximated.
What makes it read as a photograph is the physics. Contact shadows, reflections, the way light bends through glass and liquid, the fill level. Those are computed, not painted, which is why the bottle sits in a scene instead of looking pasted onto it.
If a buyer, a retailer, or a marketplace asks how the image was made, you can tell them exactly: your production files, a 3D model of your actual container, and a named artist who rendered it. We can put that in writing for you.
Thank you and your staff for your excellent work. I come from a fine arts photography background, so as a result I am not easy to please when it comes images, you guys are REALLY good. Leslie Kossoff, Lemelson Vineyards
This is also the difference between a render and a generated image, which we go through in detail here: Is Outshinery AI?
Fun fact: Hollywood special effects are what started Outshinery. Our founder Laurie was watching "Jurassic World" when it clicked: if dinosaurs can be made to look that real, wine and beer bottles can too.
